The 35mm Film Retriever lets you quickly, safely retrieve a 35mm film leader rewound into a film cassette of 24 or 36-exposure film. It can be used in bright light without exposing the film. The retriever is constructed from stainless steel and features smooth edges that won't scratch film.
🔧 How it works (quick idea)
Most retrievers (including this one):
Insert thin tabs into the film canister
Rotate the spool until the tabs “catch” the film
Pull gently → the film leader comes out
It’s a clean, reusable method and doesn’t damage the film when used correctly
