The µ[mju:] Zoom 105 Deluxe (aka Stylus Zoom 105 Deluxe) is a weatherproof camera released by Olympus in 1995. It has a fairly lengthy 38-105mm zoom lens and unlike some of the comparable zoom cameras from this era it actually doesn’t lose too much sharpness or clarity when zoomed in. It was a popular model and won a few awards throughout ’96 and ’97 for its design. The photos it takes are generally pretty sharp and the flash (which pops up when the camera is turned on) delivers a lot of light and creates quite a pleasingly white scene if you are shooting indoors with white walls.
